**Bedrock Breaks Ground on $3.5B Riverfront Development in Cleveland**

Bedrock, Detroit’s largest real estate partner and a leading developer, has officially broken ground on the first phase of its $3.5 billion master-planned, mixed-use development along the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland.

Marking a major milestone in the project, the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center is now under construction. This state-of-the-art facility represents the first vertical component of Bedrock’s ambitious vision for the area.

The broader development, known as The Riverfront Cleveland, aims to reimagine 35 acres of underutilized land. The plan includes transforming the space into 12 acres of new public parks, plazas, trails, and a 3,000-foot-long riverwalk. Once completed, The Riverfront will stand as the largest transit-oriented development in Ohio, designed as a vibrant, community-focused destination that supports an 18-hour, 15-minute downtown lifestyle.

Developed in collaboration with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Clinic, the Global Peak Performance Center will offer cutting-edge sports medicine services to the public and serve as a training and care facility for the Cavaliers. The center is slated to open in 2027.
