Baylor Medical School Building $150M Houston Teaching Facility

Baylor University’s School of Medicine and School of Health Professions will soon have a new home in the Texas Medical Center area next to Helix Park. The 11-story, 503,000-square-foot building is projected to open in 2026 and has been named the Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower. To date, gifts for this tower total $100 million with an expected cost of $150 million.

The Slam Collaborative designed this facility which includes a 500 seat atrium; dedicated space for big data analytics; small group classrooms; studio classrooms; large capacity high tech theater style event space; anatomy lab teaching labs and 35,000 square foot simulation center helping students prepare prior to clinicals ; education innovation center with faculty development lab ; student wellness center ; lecture halls , rooftop garden & elevated courtyard . This state-of -the art facility will provide Baylor medical students with all they need for their studies as well as providing them a place where they can relax & unwind .
