**GTI Energy Boosts Investment with Major Manufacturing Expansion in Goodyear, Arizona**

GTI Energy has announced plans to invest an initial $33 million, followed by an additional $20 million, to establish a 530,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at Lakin Park in Goodyear, Arizona. This strategic move aims to meet the growing demand across the renewable energy and data center sectors.

The new facility is expected to create 250 jobs initially, expanding to 600 positions by 2026 when it becomes fully operational.

The Goodyear location will serve as GTI’s main high-volume manufacturing site. The facility will support the entire production lifecycle, including raw steel processing, welding, electrical integration, battery installation, and end-of-line testing. It will complement GTI’s existing Phoenix operations, which are focused on energy storage system fabrication and prototype development.

In related news, Apex Power Conversion, a solar and storage technology company, recently celebrated the grand opening of its U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona. Representing a $60 million investment, the 206,000-square-foot plant will expand to support the production of advanced multi-megawatt power conversion systems that integrate renewable energy and energy storage with the electrical grid.

Both developments underscore Arizona’s growing role as a hub for energy innovation and sustainable manufacturing.
