A 100,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops anchoring The Marketplace at the Bridges signals sustained retailer commitment to large-format experiential retail in established centers.

Bass Pro Shops is preparing to open a new Tucson Outdoor World store, with a grand opening set for Wednesday, March 25. The retailer will debut a 100,000-square-foot Outdoor World location at 1500 E. Tucson Marketplace Boulevard.

The new store will serve as an anchor for The Marketplace at the Bridges, a retail destination situated just off Interstate 10. By occupying a large-format footprint, the concept is positioned as a primary draw within the center.

A key experiential element of the Tucson Outdoor World is a 15,000-gallon aquarium designed within an abandoned mine-themed setting. The environment incorporates a waterfall, mine tracks, and a sunken ore cart as part of the interior build-out.

The aquarium will feature a mix of sport and game fish species, including bass, trout, catfish, crappie, and sunfish. The display is being created in collaboration with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, which is partnering with Bass Pro Shops to showcase these species in the new store.

In addition to outdoor gear and apparel, the Tucson Outdoor World will highlight Bass Pro Shops’ portfolio of boat brands. The lineup at this location will include TRACKER, RANGER, NITRO, SUN TRACKER, REGENCY, and TAHOE, all manufactured by White River Marine Group.

The store will also incorporate an on-site POWER PROS service center. This facility will provide maintenance and repair services for boats and motors, as well as for ATVs and UTVs. Parts and accessories will be available through the service operation.

According to the company, the POWER PROS service offering will be staffed by certified technicians who handle repair and maintenance needs for the marine and powersports products sold under the Bass Pro Shops and White River Marine Group brands.

With the combination of a large-format retail floor, a themed aquarium installation, and integrated marine and powersports service capabilities, the Tucson Outdoor World will bring a multi-faceted destination concept to The Marketplace at the Bridges.
