### Basis Industrial Acquires 5-Property Tampa Warehouse Portfolio
Basis Industrial has purchased a portfolio of five business parks in the Tampa area for $60 million. The properties range in size from 58,000 to 121,000 square feet.
With this acquisition, Basis Industrial now owns and manages more than 5 million square feet of industrial space, surpassing $1 billion in assets under management. This deal has doubled the company’s presence in the Tampa market, bringing its total footprint in the region to over 1 million square feet.
Anthony Scavo represented Basis Industrial in the transaction, while Bob Anderson of Birtcher Anderson represented the seller. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Beach Point Capital Management.
This marks the fourth transaction between Basis Industrial and Beach Point Capital Management, following a loan in August 2024 that facilitated the acquisition of 1,107,509 square feet of industrial space across Dallas, Houston, and Tampa.
Planned renovations for the newly acquired properties include improvements to parking areas, sidewalks, curbing, entrances, roof maintenance and replacements as needed, exterior caulking, landscaping, and rebranding efforts.
