Basis Investment Group Acquires B-Piece in $1 Billion CMBS Transaction

Basis Investment Group, a commercial real estate investment platform owned by BIG Real Estate BP II, has acquired the B-piece in the $1.025 billion BANK5 2023-5YR1 CMBS origination. The pool is supported by 24 recently issued 5-year senior mortgage loans from Wells Fargo, Citibank, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America secured by 134 properties across the US encompassing office, retail multifamily hospitality and self storage assets.
