BASE Realty Group, a newly launched real estate firm, has opened its office in New York. Founded by Jonathan Brody and Michael Schattner, the company aims to target strategic real estate investment sales in residential and commercial sectors with a focus on multifamily, industrial and development properties. The founders bring over 15 years of experience in real estate sales and investment with expertise in national endeavors as well as off-market deals.
The two connected while working at Rosewood Realty Group where Schattner assisted Brody within Rosewood’s national investment division. “BASE Realty Group will fill an important gap by providing the skill set necessary to effectively target and close diverse transaction types,” said Brody. “Although navigating the current market is challenging we continue to see immense opportunity for commercial & multifamily real estate transactions,” added Schattner.
