**Barnes & Noble to Open New Store at South Hill Mall in Puyallup**
Barnes & Noble is set to open a new store at the South Hill Mall in Puyallup, Washington, this fall.
The national bookseller will occupy a 19,000-square-foot space previously home to Super Jump Party Zone, located between JCPenney and DSW. This marks the third new Barnes & Noble location in the Puget Sound area this year, following store openings in Issaquah and Bellevue. The Bellevue store is located in a space formerly occupied by Z Gallerie, which closed in 2019.
The upcoming Puyallup location, situated at 3500 S. Meridian, is part of Barnes & Noble’s ambitious plan to open over 60 new stores nationwide in 2024. The New York City-based retailer is actively expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint by revitalizing spaces left vacant by retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond.
This new store reflects Barnes & Noble’s commitment to maintaining a strong physical retail presence and supporting local reading communities across the country.
