Merritt Properties has begun construction on White Marsh Interchange Park in Baltimore, Maryland. The project will include up to nine one-story buildings totaling around 750,000 square feet.
The first phase of the development will feature three buildings with 235,900 square feet of space offering clear heights ranging from 20 to 32 feet along with parking and truck courts. Currently 95 percent occupied, the park is part of Merritt’s Baltimore County east portfolio. Construction for this initial phase is expected to conclude by spring 2024.
Formerly home to General Motors Baltimore Global Propulsions Systems before it closed in 2019, Merritt acquired the land in 2021 and plans on repurposing it as a commercial and industrial center for businesses looking for new opportunities within Maryland’s largest city limits – Baltimore City!
