**Balos Restaurant Group to Launch New Italian Concept at 1800 M Street in D.C.**
Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has announced a new partnership with Balos Restaurant Group to open a full-service Italian restaurant at 1800 M Street, an office tower located in Washington, D.C.’s Central Business District.
The new upscale dining concept will occupy 9,247 square feet across a portion of the building’s ground floor and lower level under a 15-year lease agreement. “We are thrilled to expand our relationship with the Balos team to 1800 M Street,” said Ted Koltis, Executive Vice President and Head of Real Estate at Columbia Property Trust.
Columbia Property Trust was represented in-house by Ted Koltis and Maria Blake, Vice President of Real Estate, along with David Dochter, Matthew Alexander, and Elena Kozak of Dochter & Alexander Retail Advisors. Balos Restaurant Group was represented by Constantine Gogos of Papadopolous Properties.
1800 M Street is prominently located at the corner of M and 18th Streets in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, a bustling hub surrounded by office buildings, residential properties, hotels, and easily accessible public transit. Current notable tenants at the property include Berkeley Research Group and Wilkinson Barker Knauer.
