**Bally’s Submits $4 Billion Bronx Casino Plan to New York State Gaming Board**

Bally’s Corporation has formally submitted its proposal to the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board for a multi-billion-dollar casino resort project in the Bronx. The proposed $4 billion development, called Bally’s Bronx, would span three million square feet, making it the largest private development in the borough’s history.

The plan includes 500,000 square feet of gaming space, numerous dining and entertainment venues, and a 2,000-seat event center. This submission follows a recent vote by the New York City Council in mid-June, which granted state legislators the authority to evaluate the conversion of public parkland at Ferry Point into a casino location.

In 2023, Bally’s acquired the former Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point for a reported $60 million. The company has touted the site as an ideal location for a casino resort, highlighting its unique setting surrounded by a 222-acre golf course and a cemetery, and accessible via two major bridges that carry over 40 million vehicles annually. The location is also reachable from Manhattan’s Upper East Side in under 20 minutes by public ferry.

If approved, Bally’s Bronx would mark a significant addition to the state’s gaming landscape and a transformative development in the Bronx.
