Back Home Hospitality Signs Restaurant Deal at Mission Rock MXU

Mission Rock Partners, a collaboration between the San Francisco Giants, Tishman Speyer and the Port of San Francisco, has reached an agreement with Back Home Hospitality to develop and operate a new full-service restaurant in the mixed-use development. The renowned restaurant group behind Che Fico will bring their award-winning concept to this prime location at Visa’s new headquarters building.

Spanning 8,300 square feet on the street level of Mission Rock MXU, this highly anticipated establishment will feature a main dining room as well as a full bar and private dining rooms upon its opening in early 2025. Led by Chef David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer – who was recently nominated for one of America’s most outstanding chefs by James Beard Foundation – Back Home Hospitality is known for their successful eateries such as Che Fico Alimentari and Menlo Park’s newest addition.

“We are delighted to welcome Chef Nayfeld and Mr. Brewer into our Mission Rock community,” stated Maggie Kadin, Managing Director at Tishman Speyer. “Their flagship restaurant will not only serve as an exceptional amenity for residents and employees but also attract visitors from all over San Francisco.”
