Vornado Realty Trust has announced that The Avra Group will be launching a new Mediterranean restaurant, Avra Estiatorio, in THE PENN DISTRICT above Penn Station. Located at 390 Ninth Avenue, the establishment will boast a 150-seat outdoor café and join the district’s diverse range of dining options.
This exciting development marks The Avra Group’s fourth NYC location and will showcase an impressive 14,000 square feet of indoor dining space as well as 6,000 square feet of outdoor seating. Private dining rooms are also available for special events. Adjacent to Meta’s campus at the Farley Building – home to Moynihan Food Hall – recent additions in THE PENN DISTRICT include Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak with upcoming spots like Roberta’s Pizza on the horizon.
According to Ed Hogan, Executive Vice President for Retail Leasing at Vornado Realty Trust: “New Yorkers can expect nothing but top-notch quality throughout our district whether they come here for work or leisure.” This sentiment is echoed by Rockwell Group who have been commissioned to design this highly anticipated restaurant set to open its doors in Spring 2025.
