### AVR Realty Sells Two Atlanta Hotels for $66M

AVR Realty and investment partner Dimension Hospitality have sold two Marriott-branded hotels near Truist Park for $66 million. The properties include the 400-room Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria and the adjacent 147-room SpringHill Suites Atlanta Northwest.

The hotels, located less than a mile from the Atlanta Braves’ ballpark, were purchased by Morning Star Hotel Group, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Reports indicate that the new owners plan to undertake a complete renovation of both properties over the next 18 to 24 months.

AVR Realty and Dimension Hospitality originally acquired the Marriott hotel in 2017 for $56 million, securing a nearly $47 million loan from M&T Bank of New York for the purchase. That loan matured in May of last year. The SpringHill Suites was later developed by AVR Realty and opened in 2022, adjacent to the Marriott property.
