Consonance Capital, a healthcare investment platform, has secured a 9,473-square-foot lease at Marx Realty’s newly co-branded office building with Baccarat located at 545 Madison. The company will be relocating from its current Midtown location on 1370 6th Avenue. According to a statement released by Marx Realty, the building’s largest tenant – an undisclosed real estate holding firm – has extended its lease for another five years and there is now only 9,500 square feet available for leasing.
Marx Realty’s president and CEO Craig Deitelzweig stated that the leasing activity and demand at their property have surpassed other nearby office buildings. He also emphasized that creating an inviting sensory experience is highly appealing to potential tenants.
The landlord was represented by Cushman & Wakefield led by Tara Stacom while Consonance Capital was represented by JLL’s Cynthia Wasserberger and Michael Pallas in this transaction. Notable tenants of the property include GTS, Snow Phipps Kohlberg Vialto Partners,and Orangewood Capital.
