Allied Irish Banks PLC (AIB) has announced its relocation of the New York City headquarters to 825 Third Avenue. The company will occupy a spacious 11,054 square feet on the newly renovated and LEED Gold-certified building’s 14th floor, owned by The Durst Organization. This move is part of a $150 million transformation project for the property spanning over 530,000 square feet.
According to Jody Durst, President of The Durst Organization: “We have almost completed an all-encompassing renovation at 825 Third Avenue with top-notch amenities and contemporary office spaces equipped with sustainable systems and an elegant lobby. This building will serve as an exceptional base for Allied Irish.”
Situated in Midtown East area, this property has been attracting diverse tenants such as Genius Sports and Toyota Tsusho America Inc. While AIB was represented by Matthew McBride from CBRE in securing their lease agreement; The Durst Organization had their own team representing them.
