The company specializes in injection molding and is known for producing lightweight and environmentally-friendly products for car structures and interiors.
Williamson County commissioners are currently reviewing a potential tax abatement incentives agreement with Hanwha Advanced Materials for this project. With customers such as Toyota and GM operating along the I-35 corridor in San Antonio and Arlington respectively, it is speculated that Hanwha may be coming to the Austin metro area to serve Tesla Inc.’s electric vehicle factory.
