The Presidium Group, developers of River Park, are eager to generate excitement for their ambitious redevelopment project. One of their initial plans is to include a 65,000-square-foot indoor entertainment venue in collaboration with the Austin Business Journal. This facility will be located at the Northwest corner of East Riverside Drive and Crossing Place and will feature live shows, community events, and special occasions.
This first phase of River Park’s development will be anchored by the new entertainment venue. The entire project spans 109 acres east of Lady Bird Lake overlooking Oracle’s former headquarters.
River Park’s construction will take place in stages and could potentially encompass 10 million square feet upon completion. It aims to offer a diverse mix of office spaces, retail outlets, hotels,and residential areas for its visitors’ convenience. Additionally,the planned Blue Line light rail by Capital Metro along East Riverside Drive adds another layerof accessibility for commuters.
The initial phase includes plans for 370 apartments,a total area exceeding4000 square feet dedicated towards offices,and an additional12 thousand square feet reservedfor retail purposes.This exciting news was reported on Connect CRE as “Entertainment Venue to Anchor Austin’s RiverPark”.
