Austin Bus Booking Firm Moving HQ, Creating 100 New Jobs

CharterUp, an online charter bus-booking platform, is relocating its headquarters from Atlanta to Austin and plans to create 100 local jobs. Austin will serve as the tech and product hub for the company while sales, customer service, and financial services will remain in Atlanta. In October 2020 CharterUp secured $60 million in a deal led by Tritium Partners of Austin – an investor specializing in online marketplaces, logistics software companies. At that time it was reported that CharterUp had experienced more than 100% annual growth with an annual revenue run rate of $150 million projected for 2022.

Founded in 2018 with a mission to let customers charter a bus within 60 seconds or less; CharterUp works with corporations, government organizations schools sports teams as well as private groups contracting one-time or recurring bus services for events group travel employee commutes etc..
