Marcus & Millichap recently closed the sale of an 83-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Aurora, Illinois for $11 million. The three-story hotel, located at 111 North Broadway Avenue in a bustling industrial suburb of Chicago, was sold by a private investor and purchased by an established regional owner-operator.
The exclusive listing for the property was held by investment specialists Havericak, Robert Hunter and David Altman from Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office. Steven Weinstock from Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago office assisted with closing the transaction.
According to Havericak, finding a buyer who wanted to expand their presence in the region made for a smooth transaction that left both parties satisfied with the outcome. This recent sale is just another example of successful deals being made within this thriving market.
