Hoar Construction is the designated general contractor for a $184 million project at the University of Auburn campus. The company is leading the construction efforts for a 285,000-square-foot Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Agriculture Sciences Complex set to be finished by summer 2026.
The complex will consist of three interconnected buildings with pedestrian bridges and a shared basement. Each building will house advanced teaching labs, research facilities, an instructional garden and communal student spaces. It occupies the former site of Auburn’s Hill Residence Halls which were demolished earlier this year.
Other key partners involved in this project include JE Dunn as construction manager and Goodwyn Mills Cawood & Lord Aeck Sargent as designers responsible for its creation.
