Reign Capital has recently acquired a prominent building located in downtown D.C. that houses AT&T Inc.’s telecommunications infrastructure. According to the Washington Business Journal, an affiliate of Reign Capital paid $112.3 million for the eight-story property at 725 13th St NW.

CHICAGO (CBS) — A City Council panel has backed a proposed ordinance aimed at keeping convicted sex offenders away from children using public libraries.
As WBBM Newsradio’s Bob Conway reports the measure would ban registered sex offenders from entering any area designated for use by children within Chicago Public Library branches.

Offenders could still use other parts of the library under the proposal sponsored by Ald Danny Solis ((25th).
The full council will now take up that plan next month.
In addition to banning sex offenders from areas where kids congregate – such as reading circles – it would also require them to stay at least five feet away if they’re browsing through books or DVDs in general circulation areas.
