Atlas Capital Acquires 80 DeKalb in Brooklyn for $202M

On Friday, Atlas Capital Group, a comprehensive real estate investment and management company based in New York, announced its acquisition of 80 Dekalb Ave. in Brooklyn. While the exact terms were not disclosed by Atlas, sources have reported that the purchase price was $202.5 million. The property was previously owned by KKR for $190 million before being sold to Brookfield Properties in July 2022.

According to an Atlas representative, “We are excited to expand our residential portfolio in New York City with the addition of 80 Dekalb Ave.” With expertise in operations and management, we are confident that we can continue providing exceptional living experiences for current and future residents.”

With all 365 units fully occupied at this time, this marks Atlas’ second acquisition of a building in Brooklyn after purchasing The Denizen luxury multifamily project located in Bushwick last year. In addition to their presence in Brooklyn’s market ,Atlas Capital Group is also co-developing a high-end condominium project at 80 Clarkson St.in Manhattan’s West Village.
