"Atlanta Hotel Receives Financing from Driftwood"

Driftwood Capital, also known as “Driftwood,” recently obtained $28.5 million in refinancing for the Wylie Hotel Atlanta. The financing was provided by Fortress Investment Group and is a 36-month loan with a competitive interest rate.

In 2021, Driftwood Acquisition Partners (DAP) acquired the independent Wylie Hotel. Two years later, in 2023, DAP rebranded the hotel as Tapestry by Hilton.

The Wylie Hotel is located at 551 Ponce De Leon Ave NE and has 111 rooms available to guests. It also features dining options such as Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen.

With extensive experience in acquisitions, development, and lending within the hospitality industry, Driftwood sources investments across various markets and property types – from well-known brands to boutique properties. They use their expertise in hotel management to add value and improve operations for each investment they make while striving to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns for their investors.
