Atlanta Braves Acquire Pennant Park Office Complex Adjacent to The Battery Atlanta
The Atlanta Braves’ real estate division has acquired Pennant Park, a six-building office complex located at the intersection of I-75 and I-285, adjacent to The Battery Atlanta. The property, previously owned by Rubenstein Partners since 2017, offers approximately 763,465 square feet of office space spread across 34 acres and includes over 2,700 parking spaces. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Currently, Pennant Park houses 24 tenants, including major anchors like The Home Depot. The property boasts an occupancy rate of over 80% and is situated in close proximity to The Battery Atlanta’s vibrant entertainment district.
Mike Plant, President and CEO of Braves Development Company, commented on the acquisition, stating, “Acquiring this adjacent property expands our footprint and positions us to capitalize on the interest we continue to see in The Battery Atlanta. Additionally, this will provide expanded parking for the approximately 9 million people who visit us each year.”
The Battery Atlanta, anchored by Truist Park—home of the Atlanta Braves—is a 2.25-million-square-foot mixed-use destination that features restaurants, bars, and a 4,000-square-foot music venue, offering a comprehensive sports and entertainment experience.
