The U.S. Soccer Federation has announced plans to construct a $228 million National Training facility in Trilith, located south of Atlanta. Spanning 200 acres, this state-of-the-art facility will be part of a billion-dollar development envisioned by Chick-fil-A Chairman Dan Cathy as a premier global destination for sports and filming.
Recently sold for nearly $6.9 million to an affiliate of Bay Point Media, an investor in Trilith Studios, the site for the training center is set to be acquired by U.S. Soccer next year.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for spring 2024 with completion expected before the FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2026 – when Atlanta will serve as one of its host cities – making it an ideal location for this ambitious project’s debut.
