Arrow Real Estate Advisors has secured a $12.5 million permanent loan for a seven-property multifamily portfolio located in Hartford, Connecticut. The financing was arranged on behalf of J&M Tower Group and provided by Amalgamated Bank.
The portfolio comprises 175 residential units across seven separate properties and marks a notable expansion of J&M Tower’s presence in the Hartford market. The loan refinanced the original acquisition debt and offers long-term, nonrecourse, fixed-rate terms.
The transaction was led by a team from Arrow Real Estate Advisors including founder and managing partner Morris Betesh, director Israel Mermelstein, senior vice president Morris Dabbah, and associate Louis Halperin.
“This transaction is a great example of what can happen when strong execution meets the right capital partner,” said Mermelstein. “The sponsor moved quickly to unlock value, significantly increasing income and occupancy in under a year. Despite the limited seasoning and structural challenges, we were able to align them with a lender who understood the story, the market, and the long-term stability of the portfolio.”
