The Learning Experience, a national daycare franchise, is set to expand in the Washington metro area by opening eight new locations within the next two years.
Each of these new centers will span up to 10,000 square feet of indoor space and feature a playground measuring up to 5,000 square feet. With an expected staff size of around 30 members and certified teachers on board, each center will be able to accommodate approximately 180 children.
This expansion highlights the growing trend towards investing in early learning assets. The Florida-based franchise is owned by Golden Gate Capital – a private equity group based in San Francisco – which has already opened over 80 centers in the past two years. Currently operating across 30 states with three additional locations in the U.K., The Learning Experience plans on adding more than160 new centers within the next three years.
