Ardent Company, LLC, a general contracting firm based in Maryland, has acquired a three-acre site located at 1300 Defense Highway in Anne Arundel County for $2.19 million. The property includes a small commercial office building and covered storage structure. MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction with Matthew Curran and Andrew Meeder leading the deal.
According to Meeder, there is high demand for industrial outdoor storage sites due to limited supply in the market. He also noted that this particular site’s existing C4 zoning allows for outdoor storage use which was attractive to Ardent Company as they plan to utilize it for storing construction equipment. Headquartered in Brentwood, Maryland, Ardent Company will benefit from this strategic acquisition.
