ARCO Design/Build Breaks Ground on 1.2M-SF Logistics Facility in Apple Valley
ARCO Design/Build has officially broken ground on a 1,207,135-square-foot logistics facility in Apple Valley, California, for repeat client Lecangs. The $96 million development stands as the largest industrial project in Apple Valley since 2018 and marks a major expansion of Lecangs’ third-party logistics footprint on the West Coast.
Continuing a multi-year partnership with Lecangs, the new state-of-the-art facility will feature 40-foot clear heights and more than 200 dock doors designed to maximize goods movement within Lecangs’ growing logistics network. The building will also integrate solar energy and battery storage systems, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable operations.
“This groundbreaking represents a significant milestone for Lecangs and the entire Apple Valley community,” said Dan Croft, President of ARCO Jacksonville. “After recently completing successful projects for Lecangs on the East Coast, our team was able to leverage our national reach to deliver the same level of expertise and execution on the West Coast.”
Construction is expected to take approximately 14 months, with completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.
