Apple Hospitality REIT Acquires Embassy Suites in Madison for $79.5 Million

Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. has recently announced the opening and acquisition of a new property in Wisconsin for approximately $79.5 million. The 262-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Madison Downtown is a custom-built hotel that adds to Apple Hospitality’s growing portfolio.

According to Nelson Knight, President of Real Estate and Investments at Apple Hospitality, this acquisition allows them to expand their presence in the thriving and business-friendly market of Madison.

The newly constructed Embassy Suites is located at 231 South Pinckney Street and offers easy access to popular attractions such as Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Wisconsin State Capitol, University of Wisconsin-Madison, restaurants, shops,and entertainment options.

With this addition along with the sale of SpringHill Suites Greensboro,the total number of hotels under Apple Hospitality now stands at 224 with over 30 thousand guest rooms available for guests’ comfort.
