Apartments in Spokane Receives $33M Investment from Partnership

A joint venture between Cushman & Wakefield and Greystone successfully arranged a $33 million construction loan for the development of Kōz on West 4th Ave, a six-story multifamily apartment complex in downtown Spokane, Washington. The project is being developed by an affiliate of Kōz Development, LLC and Catalyst Opportunity Funds.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the 210-unit complex was recently held at its location on S. Bernard St and W. 4th Ave. Spanning over 80,000 square feet with ample parking space for residents (108 spaces), this new development will bring much-needed housing to the area.

Cushman & Wakefield played a crucial role as exclusive advisor to the partnership in securing financing for this project through their Equity, Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) team led by Chris Moyer along with Dave Karson, Paul Roeter, and Chris Meloni who represented the borrower during negotiations.

Greystone’s Senior Managing Director Michael Zampetti originated a private label loan from Greystone with assistance from Drew Fletcher and Jesse Kopecky specifically tailored to meet the construction financing needs of this multifamily development in Spokane.
