"APAH Revamps Arlington Marbella Apartments: A Guide to the Redevelopment Process"

The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) is leading the redevelopment of Marbella Apartments in Arlington, Virginia. The former 31-unit garden-style apartment community will be replaced by a 234-unit property, featuring a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units designed for residents earning between 30-60% of the area median income.

This new community will offer various amenities such as a tot lot, communal spaces, penthouse amenity space and an outdoor courtyard. To promote sustainability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption levels at this development project APAH plans to incorporate solar panels as well as obtain EarthCraft Gold and Energy Star certifications.
