Crystal Lagoon’s newest addition, the Angel Lagoon, is set to be developed in Dayton, located less than an hour’s drive northeast of Houston. This 40-acre mixed-use entertainment district is currently under construction and slated to open in Summer 2024.
Themed beaches will be a major feature of the lagoon experience, including options for families, adults-only visitors, VIP guests and those seeking entertainment. The facility will also offer various dining choices such as the Shoreline Grill restaurant with open-air seating, a food truck plaza and an Aqua Bar swim-up bar. Other amenities at the new lagoon include Angel Lagoon Live performance lawn and stage area; synthetic turf celebration lawn; National Sailing Club watersports facility; boat docks; beach volleyball courts; hammock lawn; and VIP cabanas.
The development company behind this project has enlisted DL Meacham for management of Angel Lagoon while Advanced Construction handles construction duties for surrounding amenity buildings and parking lot areas.
This exciting addition to Dayton promises to make a big splash just outside Houston city limits.
