The acquisition of a 308,970-square-foot Class A advanced research and development and manufacturing facility at 100 Minuteman Park in Andover, MA has been announced by The Davis Companies. While the seller and sale price were not disclosed by Davis, reports have identified Alexandria Real Estate Equities as the seller for $67.8 million. Newmark acted as the representative for the seller.
This building is home to Straumann Manufacturing Inc. and Zwicker & Associates who have both been located at 100 Minuteman Park for nearly two decades. Straumann specializes in developing dental implants, instruments, prosthetics and biomaterials while Zwicker is a law firm that focuses on debt collections and creditor representation.
According to Cappy Daume, chief portfolio management officer at Davis: “The addition of 100 Minuteman Park further expands our premier portfolio of advanced research and development properties which prioritize top-tier locations with functional features such as ample power in key markets like Greater Boston.”
