IQHQ, a life science real estate investment trust, announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Generate:Biomedicines for an early lease renewal and long-term extension at the Innovation Park district in Andover, MA. The 75,000-square-foot cryogenic electron microscopy laboratory owned by Generate is one of the largest of its kind in the United States.
In 2020 and 2021, IQHQ acquired and developed the Innovation Park campus into a state-of-the-art life science hub spanning over 340,000 square feet. This hub caters to leading biotechnology and life science manufacturing companies in Boston’s thriving market. Tracy Murphy, co-CEO and co-founder of IQHQ expressed pride in Generate’s commitment to their cutting-edge CryoEM laboratory at IQHQ’s Innovation Park district as they work towards accelerating breakthroughs in therapeutic discovery.
The Andover location is one of four premier life science districts owned by IQHQ within Greater Boston. Colliers’ Curtis Cole and Tim Allen are responsible for overseeing leasing activities at this park.
