IQHQ, a life science real estate investment trust, announced on Tuesday that it has reached an early lease renewal and long-term extension agreement with Generate:Biomedicines at the Innovation Park district in Andover, MA. The 75,000-square-foot cryogenic electron microscopy laboratory owned by Generate is located within Innovation Park and is one of the largest of its kind in the United States.
In 2020-2021, IQHQ acquired the campus for Innovation Park and transformed it into a state-of-the-art life science hub spanning over 340,000 square feet. This hub caters to leading biotechnology and life science manufacturing companies in Boston’s thriving market. Tracy Murphy, co-CEO and co-founder of IQHQ expressed pride in Generate’s commitment to their cutting-edge CryoEM laboratory at IQHQ’s Innovation Park district as they strive to accelerate breakthroughs in therapeutic discovery.
IQHQ owns four other prominent life science districts across Greater Boston besides Innovation Park. Leasing activities at this park are managed by Colliers’ Curtis Cole and Tim Allen.
