AmTrust RE has announced several leasing transactions at One East Wacker, its 41-story, 560,000-square-foot office tower that overlooks the Chicago Riverwalk and River North. The recent activity includes the addition of two new tenants as well as three lease expansions and renewals.

The leasing efforts were led by Stream Realty Partners, with Stream Chicago’s Executive Vice Presidents Mark Gunderson and Wendy Katz, along with Vice President Erica Marshall, representing AmTrust’s office portfolio.

Aeropay, a financial technology company, signed a new lease for 15,000 square feet and will occupy the entire 39th floor of the building. The tenant was represented by Paul Reaumond and Tyler Reaumond of CBRE.

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), a non-profit that provides business support services, renewed its 8,000-square-foot lease on the 33rd floor. Boris Yelyashov and Kyle Robbins of Transwestern represented JETRO in the renewal process.

In additional activity, Gair Gallo Eberhard, a law firm, expanded its footprint to now occupy 7,000 square feet. ECD Company, a real estate innovation firm, renewed its 3,700-square-foot lease, and Lawyers Trust Fund of Illinois signed a new lease for 2,500 square feet.

These leasing transactions underscore One East Wacker’s continued appeal to a diverse range of professional and corporate tenants in Chicago’s evolving office market.
