American Liberty Hospitality (ALH), in partnership with Escalera Capital, has acquired the Hilton Houston Westchase Hotel, located at 9999 Westheimer Road in Houston.

The 297-room full-service hotel features a variety of amenities, including the Rio Ranch Restaurant and the adjoining Rio Bar, 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a pool deck, and fitness center facilities.

Originally constructed in 1980 and last renovated in 2014, the hotel is set to undergo extensive upgrades. According to the Houston Business Journal, the ownership group will invest millions to enhance nearly every aspect of the property. Planned renovations include comprehensive updates to all guest rooms, improvements to event facilities, and a complete redesign of the lobby and bar area to create better connectivity with the pool deck and event lawn.

Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of the year, with completion targeted for mid-2026. ALH confirmed that the hotel will remain open and operational throughout the renovation period.
