The American Dental Association (ADA) has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to 401 North Michigan Avenue in the first quarter of 2025. This move will see ADA occupying the top three floors and a portion of the 32nd floor, totaling 69,574 square feet. The lease accounts for approximately 9.4% of the building’s total rentable space, bringing its occupancy rate up to an impressive market-leading level of 88.4%. After being headquartered at their current location on East Chicago for over six decades, which was recently sold to Lurie Children’s Hospital, ADA is now ready for this new chapter.
The transaction was made possible by a joint-venture leasing team led by Stream Realty Partners’ Erica Marshall and Zeller’s Howard Meyer who represented Walton Street Capital – owners of the building. Representing ADA were Jeff Liljeberg and Jamie Fink from JLL.
According to Raymond Cohlmia D.D.S., Executive Director at ADA: “This move allows us to remain in Chicago’s bustling Mag Mile area while providing our employees with enhanced opportunities and amenities that align with our mission.”
