Amazon Expands Presence in Round Rock with New Last-Mile Delivery Station and Data Center
Round Rock has granted zoning approvals to Amazon for the development of a last-mile delivery station and data center on their 135-acre property. The company plans to use a portion of this land for the delivery station, which will create up to 200 jobs and serve customers within a 50-mile radius. Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2024 with completion within one year.

In addition, Amazon is considering converting another nearby site into a data center, but may alter their plans depending on future developments. This project adds to the growing trend of data centers in northern Austin, including projects from Skybox Datacenters LLC and Prologis Inc.

This latest expansion showcases Amazon’s commitment towards expanding its presence in Round Rock while also contributing towards job creation in the area.
