### Joann Inc. to Close All Texas Stores Amid Liquidation

Joann Inc., the national fabric and craft retailer, is set to close all of its more than 800 stores, including nine locations in the Houston area, this spring. The company’s assets were auctioned last weekend following an order from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.

The winning bidders, Great American Group and Wilmington Savings Fund, plan to begin winding down operations while conducting going-out-of-business sales at all store locations.

Prior to the auction, Joann had already initiated store closing sales at two-thirds of its 802 locations across 49 states, including 18 in Texas and four in the Houston area. In addition to the four Houston locations, the company operates stores in Humble, Katy, Spring, Sugar Land, and Webster. Statewide, Joann has 43 stores across 35 cities in Texas.
