**Alexandria, Eli Lilly Launch Innovation Hub in Torrey Pines**
Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. has announced the opening of Lilly Gateway Labs San Diego, powered by Alexandria, located on the One Alexandria Square Megacampus in Torrey Pines.
First introduced by Eli Lilly and Company in 2019 in the Bay Area, Lilly Gateway Labs serves as a shared innovation hub aimed at empowering biotechnology startups to develop breakthrough therapies. The new San Diego facility marks the expansion of this initiative to Southern California.

The new Gateway Labs site is housed in a LEED Gold-certified, all-electric laboratory facility. It features modular lab spaces, adjacent collaboration areas, scientific and operational support services, strategic programming, as well as dedicated building security and concierge services.
