The recent opening of a new Aldi Food Store at Roosevelt Plaza in Lombard has transformed the shopping center into a grocery-anchored destination. Owned and managed by an affiliate of Next Realty LLC, Roosevelt Plaza boasts anchor tenants such as Hobby Lobby and Harbor Freight Tools, along with other popular retailers like Fruitful Yield, Roadhouse 38, and Starbucks.
Next Realty leased the 22,951-square-foot space that was previously occupied by X-Sport Fitness to Aldi as part of their nationwide expansion plans. According to Amy Levin, Director of Leasing at Next Realty: “With its diverse tenant mix and convenient location on West Roosevelt Road ,Roosevelt Plaza has been a strong center for years. The addition of Aldi Foods will only enhance its appeal to shoppers.” Founded in Chicago in 1998 ,Next Realty is a private equity firm specializing in commercial property acquisitions.
