Rio Bravo Studios is proud to announce the construction of a state-of-the-art commercial soundstage facility, set to open in 2025. The facility will feature four spacious sound stages, each measuring 20,000 square feet. In addition to the stages, there will be office areas for each stage and two complete mill shops on site. Ample parking for up to 450 cars will also be available on the property’s expansive grounds.
Located near the intersection of Rio Bravo and 2nd Street in Albuquerque, this prime location is conveniently close to major highways such as I-25 and Albuquerque International Sunport airport.
According to Daniel Chavez from Rio Bravo Studios: “The New Mexico film community has built an exceptional infrastructure for production. We have a unique opportunity here in New Mexico and with this development we are taking another step towards becoming one of the top destinations for film production worldwide.”
CBRE representatives Trevor Hatchell and Matt Butkus assisted Schwartzman Inc., who sold their land parcel measuring at approximately 18 acres adjacent Bernalillo County NMRX Station just south of town; while Scott Whitefield and Shona Martinez represented Rio Bravo Studios as buyers.
This exciting new project marks yet another milestone in Albuquerque’s growing movie industry scene.
