Albanese, BXP, CrossHarbor Break Ground on $400M Jersey City Residential Project
The Albanese Organization, BXP, and CrossHarbor Capital Partners have officially broken ground on a $400 million residential development located at 290 Coles Street in Jersey City’s SoHo West neighborhood. Situated near the Hoboken border, the project will deliver 670 residential units, along with 13,000 square feet of street-level retail space and over 60,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor amenities.
To commemorate the start of the project, leadership from the development partnership hosted a groundbreaking ceremony, which included Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, city officials, and local dignitaries.
“Breaking ground at 290 Coles reflects our continued belief in Jersey City as a great place to live and work, and our commitment to helping shape its future in thoughtful and lasting ways,” said Chris Albanese, President of the Albanese Organization. “This project represents more than new housing; it’s a meaningful step in further establishing SoHo West as a vibrant, integrated community. We’re proud to partner with BXP and CrossHarbor to bring this vision to life.”
The development aims to contribute to the ongoing transformation of the SoHo West neighborhood, combining accessible housing with dynamic community features.
