Aker Acquires Brookline Pelham Hall Apartments for $70M

Aker, a prominent real estate company, has recently acquired the luxurious Pelham Hall Apartments in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, MA for a whopping $70 million. The seller’s identity remains undisclosed.

The transaction was led by the esteemed CBRE Capital Markets team consisting of Simon Butler, Biria St. John, John McLaughlin and Brian Bowler who exclusively represented the seller during negotiations. Aker secured financing through CBRE’s John Kelly.

According to St. John,”Pelham Hall is an iconic landmark that dates back to 1926 and has only had two previous owners in its nearly century-long history.” Standing tall at nine stories high with concrete and steel construction,the building boasts red brick Georgian Revival-style architecture with classical limestone details inspired by Beacon Street design cues.The property also includes 148 apartment homes as well as 14,601 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and mezzanine level.
