Skender has successfully completed the construction of a large-scale demolition and three-floor buildout project for AIT Worldwide Logistics at Two Pierce Place in Itasca, Illinois. The global supply chain solutions company now occupies three floors within the 25-story office tower, totaling 494,000 square feet. This impressive buildout includes 210 workstations, 43 enclosed offices, nine conference rooms, a boardroom and a spacious café spanning over 2,000 square feet. Additionally,the space features dedicated reception area,a game room,and multiple collaboration areas.
According to Vaughn Moore ,Chairman and CEO of AIT,”This modern location not only showcases our global brand,but also provides our corporate staff with ample space and resources to effectively support our customers worldwide.” Partners by Design served as the architect on this project while RLE acted as owner’s representation,and Advance Consulting Group provided engineering services.Skender has recently completed another notable project- Ace Hardware’s new headquarters at McDonald’s former corporate campus.
