Affordable Senior Housing in the Bronx: Welcome New Residents!

Douglaston Development has welcomed residents to 2856 Webster Avenue, a 12-story, 188-unit affordable senior housing building in the Bronx. Located adjacent to The New York Botanical Garden’s grounds, this building offers affordable housing for seniors earning up to 50 percent of the Area Median Income. Onsite social services are provided by Fordham Bedford Community Services and there is also 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space leased to Cherry Valley Marketplace.

Phase II of the project will deliver approximately 277 additional affordable rental units for families as well as further ground floor retail space. Douglaston Development holds a 99-year lease with NYBG and Stephen B. Jacobs Group serves as project architect on this development initiative which provides much needed low income housing options in The Bronx area.
