Aegis Living has recently opened its 37th community in Seattle’s vibrant Ballard neighborhood. The new Aegis Living Ballard, located at 949 NW Market Street, offers a total of 92 assisted living apartments with studio, one and two-bedroom options within its four-story building spanning over 88,000 square feet. The architecture firm Dahlin and general contractor Ryan Companies were involved in the construction of this state-of-the-art senior center.
According to Dwayne Clark, founder and CEO of Aegis Living: “Ballard is an eclectic urban neighborhood known for its vibrancy and vitality – making it the perfect location for our newest community.” Inspired by the area’s rich history in canneries, fishing fleets,and timber industry,the design incorporates elements from both Northwest and Nordic cultures through artwork.
